When God Speaks
                Recently in my life I have heard God truly speak to me. Sometimes life can get complicated and overwhelming but God is always with you. Have you ever got that crazy feeling in your belly where it feels like there are thousands of butterflies ready to explode out of it? This is how I felt a while back and typically I would try to ignore it but in this moment I prayed that he would release any butterflies and any worries I may have. As I prayed this I could feel the Holy Spirit release these uneasy feelings.
                There are so many different ways that God speaks to us. God can speak to us through his word, or through his son, his creation and nature, through other believers, through music, circumstances, his spirit, and through prayer. God can speak to us in so many ways and sometimes the message is not clear right away but eventually we will see the true meaning.
                Recently God has been clearly speaking to me through prayer. During a busy week recently I prayed during every moment possible that he would lead me where he wanted me to be led. That God would give me his words to speak and his light would shine through me. God showed me a lot in that time, and some crazy God moments happened to me. My biggest prayer was for God to show me my journey and touch my heart with his presence. He did just that! I want to share a few crazy thoughts and God moments with you that have recently happened and my faith has continued to grow.
 
God Speaks through Healing
                As a child when my mum use to get a headache she would always ask me to lay my head on hers and pray for it to go away. I always did just that but the crazy thing is that her headache always went away. As I placed my head on hers I could always feel a tingly sensation in my own head and know it was the healing of her headache from my own head. As a child I was always so confused on how this was even possible and I have no answer other than God is amazing. Recently I ran into someone who could not talk because their throat hurt. I asked them if I could pray for their throat and they agreed. As I prayed I got the same tingly feeling I got when I use to pray for my mums headaches. After I prayed for their throat, my throat suddenly hurt afterward then later with time the pain went away. This seems crazy I know but I truly believe that God can heal, he is all powerful and if you truly believe it is incredible.
God Speaks through Prayer
                As I prayed during this time I wasn’t expecting an answer but more of a clue. I asked God to show me my journey and to touch my heart with his presence. He did just that and it was an incredible experience. God surrounds us in every moment and is there to lead us, there is no fear when we have faith in him. During this time I wanted to be fearless in God’s presence and in my weakness I wanted God to be my shoulder to lean on and surround me in his presence. As I prayed every morning and through the day each prayer was answered in a different way. God released any fear or worry I may have had and stayed by my side holding my hand. I truly felt God surrounding me. During this time I heard God speak through me to answer my biggest prayer. God said to me, “Sarah this is not your journey but instead I have prepared a different journey for your life and your purpose on this earth is great; stick by me and follow the path I have created for you and while on your journey I will never leave or forsake you but I will guide you through every obstacle, and challenge. Keep faith in me and we will grow together.” This has given me so much comfort and contentment in my life. Never do I need to worry what is to come because God will speak through me, He will lead me through the path he has set forth for my life and in my faith I will touch lives.
God is Great
                Not always are my prayers answered so clearly but they were this time and my relationship with God is the closest it has ever been. Please remember that God may not answer your prayer clearly every time or answer it in the way you have expected. However, that is what is so great! We then see how he does answer our prayers and they might be in a way we were least expecting it and that is so so exciting! God is incredibly great! God is loving, fearless, caring, and all powerful. I encourage all of you to let go of your fear, worries, and distrust. God has a plan for you, he has a purpose for you, and he loves you. God will never leave you nor forsake you and he is always with you ready to hold your hand. Put all your faith in him and just trust. Miracles can happen. Lives can change. Prayers are heard. Prayers are answered.
