7/8/2015 1 Comment Wed, Jul 8, 2015As a child I never really questioned who I was untill I turned 8 years old. I would watch my friends jump rope, do the monkey bars, and put up their hair. These were all things I had not been able to accomplish yet. It broke me to pieces and I started to ask the question of why me? I wondered why God would create me with one arm. This is when I had to find my friend Paige. But in life we all go through the why stage, we wonder why we have flaws, differences and if anyone feels the same way. I can promise you we all have these moments. Later in life I came to the realization that God has a plan and purpose for everything. He creates us all to be imperfectly perfect and he knows what will happen in our lives. We as humans just need to learn to trust him and his work in our lives. There are a few verses that I want to share with you to help you if you are in the why zone. ~ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. -Philippians 4:13 ~ ~ For I know the plans I have for you declares the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11 ~ Now sometimes we read verses but do not truly look into them so I will do it for you to read. *Prosper: You will be succesful through God / to flourish *Not to Harm: God will care for you and always protect you. *Hope: What he wants and what you want in your life, the events will turn out for the best according to his plan for you. *Future: He will guide you and direct you, God knows what will happen every second of every day. So put your faith in God and be yourself for he has created you perfect as you are and #imperfectlyperfect When a negative thought gets put inside your head just remember to replace it with a positive thought. Love, Sarah Stump

I do counseling at a camp for kids with limb differences...and a few do have a little difficulty doing some things...like the kid with no limbs at all...but I just saw your travel bag video, and, kiddo, you're as close to perfect as one could find. You use both hands without hesitation and show the world that slightly different is no thing to br hiding, or embarrassed by! Continue to show that to those who are concerned about their differences, and the the rest of the world who hasn't had the experience of seeing a beautiful young woman who is, indeed, perfect.

Well known for her love for Jesus, coffee, and having one arm. Sarah share's stories in her life in hope to help others. She wants you to know that,
"Our differences do not define who we are but are a part of the story that God has written for our lives." Sarah says, " I hope that I can be someone to relate to in a world of untold real stories. Everything I write is from my heart and real." "We are all created imperfectly perfect by God, we should be proud of our imperfections and differences, they make us who we are today but do not define us, know that you are beautiful and remind yourself of this everyday." |
